Heber Technical Services commitment to health and safety is as important as our commitment to other business objectives.
The primary goal of this policy and associated procedures is to assist in providing a safe and healthy work environment for Heber employees, clients, and other third parties.
Our strategies to implement this Policy are:
• In order to guarantee the continuity of the company, all activities have to be continuously checked and balanced with respect to the risks involved. This will involve applying and demonstrating a systematic approach to health and safety management to achieve continuous performance improvement.
• Demonstrate compliance with all applicable health and safety industrial standards. The products and services supplied to customers must not violate legal requirements.
• Health and safety are the responsibility of all company employees. Adequate resources to establish maintain, train and monitor safety systems at work will promote a positive culture in the working environment. Hence health and safety performance is a factor in the appraisal and recognition of staff
• All services done on client sites shall adopt the respective clients Health & Safety requirements and policies as well as Heber requirements and policies.
• Develop and apply hazard and risk assessments to identify, assess and manage existing or future potential hazards. This will allow measurable targets for improvement in all areas of health and safety, to be implemented.
To enable the policy to be implemented and the defined objectives to be achieved, the management system complies with the requirements, being the international management standards applicable to Heber Technical Services' type of business. All those who are involved either directly or indirectly in the execution of the activities described in this document are obligated to give it their full support, to ensure that the required quality level is achieved at the lowest possible costs.  Heber Technical Services is accountable for its Management in implementing and ensuring that the policy is implemented and that its effectiveness is reviewed annually. This policy applies to all Heber Technical Services sites and will be updated every two years.
