REFRACTORY DRY OUT

REFRACTORY DRY OUT

Refractory cements and raw materials are hard, heat resistant materials that are suitable for applications that require high temperature strength, wear resistance, electrical or thermal insulation, or other specialized characteristics. Refractory cements are used to patch or line furnaces and bond bricks or joints in high temperature applications.

Dry Out, also referred to as bake out, is the process for removing both the mechanical water (added during the mixing process) and chemical water (originally added in manufacturing) from the refractory. By Dry out process, the mechanical water is turned into steam and forced out of the refractory by the heat.

Heber Technical Services had successfully carried out many such refractory dry out services on various complex equipment for many of our reputed clients at their manufacturing facilities, On-site plant shutdown jobs, etc. We carry out Dry Out process through Electrical, Gas firing and Diesel Firing methods
